We create designs for assemblies and individual components according to your specifications. We will provide you with expert advice from our many years of experience. Once you have decided on the design of your component, we will gladly assist you in preparing detailed drawings.

Rope Sheave Layout

We manufacture pulleys according to the specifications of the relevant quality standards and recognised certification bodies. The welded design of the pulley bodies means that dimensionally we are very flexible and can customise pulleys according to your wishes.

General Stress and Endurance Strength Analysis

Thanks to modern FEM calculation methods, we can calculate and design the pulleys according to your load specifications. A general stress analysis and fatigue analysis acc. e.g. the standard F.E.M. 1.001 or DIN 15018 can be conducted.

Classification of Components

Upon request, we can also apply for certificates such as design or type approvals from classification bodies such as DNV GL, ABS or LR. Our services range from the application to preparation of drawings, structural analysis or fatigue analysis (e.g. according to F.E.M.) up to schedule tracking and factory approval testing.

Bearing and Seal Layout

We will gladly advise you on the selection of the bearing design, conduct bearing service life calculations and recommend the optimal bearing seal, depending on the area of application, right down to the mechanical face seals. Here BIMAT offers extensive experience.

Revisions and Overhaul

We can check your pulleys, hook blocks, and other components for damage and usability, according to your request. For this, we use standard NDT (non-destructive testing) methods. You will then receive an audit report on the result. If considered technically feasible and cost-effective, we will offer you either a complete overhaul or repair.
